Dr. Matthew Hancock and Dr. Sean Teller spoke at the Pre Filled Syringes and Injectable Drug Devices East Coast conference held in Boston, MA. They talked about “Multiphysics Simulation and Testing in Combination Product Design & Verification: Reducing Patient Risk.” Afterwards, they participated in a panel discussion.
Course offered at Adhesives and Sealants Council 2024 Annual Convention & EXPO
Dr. Scott Grindy was an instructor in the "Formulation Strategies Short Course" offered at the Adhesives and Sealants Council Annual Convention & EXPO, which took place in Louisville, Kentucky. Dr. Grindy discussed "Continuum and Fracture Mechanics based Testing and FEA of Bonded Joints."
Course on crucial techniques for high-rate mechanical testing
Dr. Sean Teller taught an online, 90-minute course on High Rate Mechanical Testing of Polymer Materials for Finite Element Simulation. He explained how to overcome challenges when conducting high-rate mechanical testing of polymer materials to produce accurate results and successful simulations.

Dr. Nirmal Paudel was the keynote speaker at this free, online event where he discussed "Electromagnetic Modeling and Design of Magnetic Couplings." Dr. Paudel's presentation included demonstrating a workflow for designing a magnetic coupling using COMSOL Multiphysics and its parametric sweep functionality.

Dr. Stuart Brown participated in the first Medical Device Innovation Consortium Modeling and Simulation Summit. Dr. Brown presented on the "Importance of Accurate Material Models in the Simulation of Medical Devices."
