Dr. Nirmal Paudel brings an extensive background in computational electromagnetics and product development in the R&D environment, particularly in the power and energy sector.

Meta Reality Labs' Research Assisted by Veryst

Meta Reality Labs (MRL), a subsidiary of Meta (formerly Facebook, Inc.), recently published an article describing their research conducted with support from Veryst's Dr. Alireza Kermani. MRL modeled ultrasound sensor integration into a glasses form factor augmented reality device, using a COMSOL model built by Veryst.

Dr. Andrew Spann was part of a team of authors of an article titled "Lasergate: a windowless gas target for enhanced laser preheat in magnetized liner inertial fusion." Veryst conducted the simulations for this work using COMSOL Multiphysics. The article was published online in the Physics of Plasmas.

Presentation on using DIC test data for material modeling at NAFEMS World Congress

October 25, 2021
Dr. Sean Teller discussed "Utilizing Test Data from DIC for Polymer Material Modeling," describing the information an engineer can extract with Digital Image Correlation and how best to use full field strain data. The presentation took place on the fourth day of NAFEMS World Congress 2021, which was fully online this year.
