Veryst is proud to have participated in COMSOL Day: Government R&D, a free, online event that took place on September 17, 2020. Dr. Nagi Elabbasi was the keynote speaker and talked about CFD Modeling of Particulate Flow in Open and Closed Spaces. Dr. Elabbasi’s presentation highlighted two models we developed at Veryst using COMSOL Multiphysics: one involving a hospital room with a coughing patient and the other involving two runners in an open space running six feet apart.
Dr. Andrew Spann was part of a panel discussion on Multiphysics in Government Research, given that, as COMSOL reminds us, “The complex phenomena being researched and simulated in government R&D projects require greater accuracy and fidelity in modeling.” The event included virtual presentations as well as break-out discussions with COMSOL technical staff.
