We were pleased to see so many of you at COMSOL Conference 2024 Boston, where we presented invited talks, posters, and a workshop.
As a platinum sponsor, we had a booth at the conference and several Veryst engineers were there, ready to talk with you about how we can support your product development with multiphysics simulation, failure analysis, material modeling and testing, and materials engineering.
We are glad you stopped by to say hello!
Some details on where we were at the conference:
- Presenting a workshop on “Multiphysics Simulation Expedites Progress and Reduces Risk in BioPharma and MedTech R&D.” In this workshop, we demonstrated how multiphysics simulation can be combined with a deep understanding of the underlying, often specialized, physical areas to help biopharmaceutical and medical technology companies improve processes and product performance, resolve failures, and reduce development and patient risk. Presented by Dr. Matthew Hancock, Dr. Sean Teller, and Dr. Joseph Barakat.
- Giving an invited talk and poster on "Multiphysics Simulation of Battery Cells and Packs for Electric Vehicles" presented by Dr. Joseph Barakat, in Session 3.
- Giving an invited talk on "Magnetomechanical Compression of a Solid Lithium Liner for Magnetized Target Fusion" presented by Dr. Sean Teller on behalf of Dr. Jean-Sebastien Dick of General Fusion, in Session 1.
- Presenting several posters:
- Multiphysics Simulation of Piezoelectrically Enhanced Soft Artificial Muscles
- Non-linear Solid Material Modeling in COMSOL: Utilizing Advanced Testing and Parameter Optimization
- Deep Neural Network Surrogate Model for Blood Damage Modeling in FDA Hemolysis Benchmark
- Multiphysics Simulation of Chaotic Mixing in Microfluidic Devices
- Eddy Current Thermography Feasibility Study Using COMSOL Multiphysics presented by Dr. Nirmal Paudel in collaboration with Dr. Zhong Ouyang of Pratt & Whitney
